The BORA company produces lines for slitting coiled metal. Slitting equipment is produced in various combinations: coiled metal slitting, cutting-off or cross-cutting lines.
The roll forming equipment manufacture of BORA company performs a full cycle of metalworking for the assembly of high-quality, modern and reliable lines.
The cross-cutting equipment includes an electromechanical or hydraulic guillotine (in the case of 2 mm thick metal). Cutting line models are classified according to the max thickness of the metal being cut.
up to 1.2 mm -cutting lines series K-2
up to 1.5 mm - cutting lines series K-3
up to 2.0 mm - cutting lines series K-4
Guillotine cutters consist of several segments (3 or 4 pcs). As a result, the grinding cutters process during the operation of the line is simplified. The cross-cutting line can be equipped with various types of devices for catching cut sheets: - a receiving cart with a sheet ejector - a hydraulic table with a lowering function as the stack accumulates - a device for stacking a painted sheet (to prevent damage to the polymer layer).
The K-4 cutting machine includes the function of a hydraulic lifting loading table, which facilitates the process of threading thick plates.
Also there is a dressing module in the lines coiled metal cross-cutting lines.
- Depending on the requirements of the customer, it can be 7, 9 or 11 rolls.
- The dressing unit is executed in two possible ways.
- A simplified device for dressing the residual curvature of the coil.
- Classic dressing device with reinforced traverses (upper, lower) and 3 pairs of supporting "shoes" to hold the dressing rolls when dressing metal with a driven speed-reduction unit.
- The guillotine is equipped with a spring-loaded pressure beam for pressing the sheet before cutting.
- The slitting unit is equipped with a transfer drive speed-reduction unit and a retractable opening support for changing cutters. Equipped with a pair of speed-reduction units with a hand wheel for synchronous lowering of the upper shaft.
- There is a free zone in front of the knife unit for operator access when changing cutters.
- The area is covered by a movable sheet support table.
- To fasten the cutters, faceplates with terminal clamps are used, which allows to prevent damage the bearing shaft and significantly reduce the changeover time.
- For metal up to 1.0 mm thick, knives with polyurethane rings are used to ensure better cutting of the strip.
